Enhancing Power Efficiency of Wireless Devices – Focus on Antenna Components
Gain insights into the impact of antenna performance on IoT device battery power efficiency.
Gain insights into the impact of antenna performance on IoT device battery power efficiency.
The power consumption of a wireless device depends on multiple factors, including the amount of data to be transmitted and received; duration of device airtime versus sleep time; geographic coverage and the range of its wireless network; and wireless protocols which enable low power, low data rate transmission. Most critical, however, is the RF performance of the antenna of the device. Join TE Connectivity’s (TE) antenna solution architect, Dr. Jane Yun, as she addresses key considerations on this topic.
