Conductive Foam

Kemtron conductive foam is a low-density polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polyurethane foam which is copper + nickel coated throughout giving X, Y and Z axis low resistance electrical conductivity thereby giving excellent EMI shielding performance when used as an EMI gasket. The material is UL94V-1flame retardant.

Overview

Conductive foam is a low-density polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polyurethane foam with a non-woven reinforcing layer on one side which is copper plated with a nickel plated overlayer throughout giving X, Y and Z axis low resistance electrical conductivity thereby giving excellent EMI shielding performance when used as an EMI gasket. The material is UL94V-1flame retardant. The material is available in sheet form up to 560mm wide or as die cut gaskets to custom design. Electrically conductive adhesive backing is available. As well as RFI / EMI shielding the material will provide a good dust seal.
